Let it SNOW

Yesterday was an exciting day...no it wasn't because of the Presidential Inauguration . It was the first snow fall of the season. Actually it was the first snow fall our area has seen in 5 years! There was no school, business went on delays or even closings. All the kids in my home, including my 17 yo Danielle made plans to "play" in the snow. It was a nice reprieve from the ordinary mundane day. It was especially exciting for Mack. She witnessed her first snow in her life, 2 year life to be exact. She came running to the window and started yelling "snow snow" as if she had witnessed it before. Its amazing to me what these little ankle biters really know and understand. She had a blast! Although, she wasn't quite sure what to do at first she figured out rather quickly and didn't even seem to mind when she face planted in the snow. Actually I think that was her favorite part. Today most of the snow is melted and we go back to our normal routine...but atleast we still have the pictures to prove it really happened!
